When The Barn Door Store first began in 2011, we started off building traditional barn
doors in a small warehouse in the Scottsdale Airpark. In the last twelve years we have not only
expanded to a larger facility, but we have also broadened our horizons in terms of the products
we offer. Not only have we refined our process in order to deliver an outstanding traditional barn
door but have also added a line of modern metal sliding doors. The wide variety of doors and
styles we offer can assure that we have a door that fits the style of your home whether it may be
contemporary, rustic, or anything in between.
Our traditional barn doors are all produced out of a species of wood called knotty alder.
Our alder doors are finished in various stain colors that allow for the exposure of the wood
characteristics such as knots and wood grain. These solid wood doors tend to give off a more
traditional feel that will compliment a more rustic or Spanish style home or even add a new
texture to a more contemporary space. We also offer paint grade wood doors that are built out ofa material called MDF. These doors offer a cleaner and more polished look as they do not
display any wood characteristics. Being offered in the paint color of your choice, these doors area great way to add a new sense of design to your space.
If you have a more contemporary home, our modern metal doors bring a modern twist to
what tends to be a traditional style. These aluminum frame doors are offered in a variety of
colors and incorporate glass inserts that offer a very stylish and contemporary feel while keepingthe functionality of a traditional sliding barn door. These modern doors provide a sense ofprivacy to your space while still maximizing the use of the rooms natural lighting as well as
adding a modern 21st century feel. Our modern metal doors are a great addition to any
contemporary home.
